Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescribed for documented individual patient need by licensed physicians and prepared by licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Compounded tirzepatide is a patient-specific prescription prepared by a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy for one person, against one prescription. It is not an FDA-approved finished drug product, it is not a generic of any branded product, and it has not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality.
Tirzepatide is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist that acts on two receptor pathways involved in appetite regulation and metabolism. Whether it is appropriate for you is a decision a licensed clinician makes after reviewing your medical history.

Which one fills a given order depends on the patient's state, the medication and dose, and current capacity. Both meet the same vetting standard, and the vial label identifies the pharmacy that prepared each shipment.
